Extension of Closing Date for Nomination of ACPE Excellence Award 2024

INVITATION TO NOMINATE FOR ASEAN CHARTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER (ACPE) EXCELLENCE AWARD 2024

  1. The Board would like to invite you to nominate deserving ASEAN chartered professional engineers (ACPEs) as candidates for the inaugural ASEAN chartered professional engineer (ACPE) Excellence Award 2024.

  2. The Inaugural ACPE Excellence Award aims to be the top regional award that gives public recognition and celebrate the outstanding engineering achievements of our ACPEs in ASEAN.

  3. The ACPE Excellence Award is given to ACPEs who has distinguished themselves nationally or internationally by attaining high standards in professional practice, made significant contributions to the engineering profession, entrepreneurship and community service in Singapore/ASEAN. The award is held once every two years. The recipient of the ACPE Excellence Award will also be nominated for ASEAN level award to be selected from the winners of the 10 ASEAN member states.

  4. It is our hope that our ACPE Excellence Award winners will serve as role models to members of the profession and inspire both present and future engineers to achieve excellence in engineering, expand their engineering activities in ASEAN, and contribute to the profession and society in Singapore, ASEAN and the world.

  5. Nomination forms are to be submitted according to the Word template provided. The closing date for submitting a nomination is 15 Aug 2024 (extended to 23 Aug 2024).

  6. The award recipient and nominators will be notified after the Award committee has finalised their assessment and selection in the 4th quarter of 2024. We look forward to receiving your nomination by 15 Aug 2024 (extended to 23 Aug 2024).
